James R. Colquhoun LLB (Hons), Non Executive Chairman (aged 65)
Mr Colquhoun is a former lawyer with over 35 years experience advising governments, statutory authorities and public companies in several business sectors including extensive involvement with the mining sector. Mr Colquhoun held the positions of Chairman of the ACT Racing Club Inc and Chairman of ACT TAB Limited. He has also been a director of Mt Gipps Limited and Stelmara Biomedical Limited. Mr Colquhoun is chairman of the Audit and Remuneration Committees.
John J. Merity B.A., LLB (Hons), GAICD, Managing Director (aged 36)
Mr Merity is a former corporate lawyer with leading law firms in Sydney and London. He has extensive Australian and international experience in project, equity and debt financing, acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, commercial agreements and general corporate governance. Mr Merity is also a director of the Australian subsidiaries of Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc, a US-based leading international provider of diagnostic products.
Peter R. Richard, Non-Executive Independent Director (aged 63)
Mr Peter Richard is a former stockbroker with over 35 years experience in Australian capital markets. During the 1980's Mr Richard was a director of Jacksons Ltd, then the largest underwriter of mining floats in Australia. Mr Richard currently provides consulting services to emerging mining and technology companies. He has previously been a director of a number of listed public companies in Australia and most recently he was a director of Magnum Exploration NL.
