Corporate Governance
The Board of Northwest believes that effective corporate governance improves company performance, enhances corporate social responsibility and benefits all stakeholders.
The ASX Corporate Governance Council ("the Council") requires listed companies to disclose the extent to which they has followed the Council’s Best Practice Recommendations. The Council recognises that not all recommendations are appropriate to every company and that companies should only adopt those recommendations that are appropriate to that individual company. Where Best Practice Recommendations have not been adopted, the company must disclose its reasons for not doing so.
